Additional Information
Despite the confusing title, this is not a "Best Of" or "Greatest Hits" compilation, but the Bar-Kays' second latest album, issued in October 1996. As you can read in the interview with Larry Dodson, it was originally intended to be called "Boys In The Band", but because of the re-makes of "Shake Your Rump To The Funk", "Too Hot To Stop" and "Soul Finger", Curb Records, for some mysterious P.R.-reason, thought it was a good idea to re-name the record "Best Of Bar-Kays". The Luther Ingram/Millie Jackson classic, "If Loving You Is Wrong", first appeared on the "48 Hours" CD and so did "The Slide". The latter has been slightly re-mixed for the new set.
